Hope people is not misinterpreting what I'm trying to mean just because I'm not a native english speaker and so words like "soberbia" in spanish is properly translated to "pride", and so on.

I'm not proving anything, I'm just agreeing that when someone thinks he/she knows everything, most likely that person thinks (s)he's superior.

For sure it contrasts with another study done some years ago on New York, Washington, or some other big city in the East Coast, that stated that students with active participation in a religion do better in school that those that don't. (Can't even remember where I read the article.)

It's funny to see that the only post related to religion or politics which isn't the main topic of this blog gets responses so fast. That just proves something already proven countless of times.

Hello. I am failing to find even a slight hint of a coherent statement within your post. You almost seem to be proving Lynn’s observations equating lesser intelligent levels with increased acceptance of faith.

Kind regards.

Hi César! Thanks a bunch for helping spread the message for such an important topic as this one. I think that the more we keep promoting these tools with such simple concepts and powerful tutorials, the better for us all. Thus, thanks again for spreading the word!

A couple of things I forgot to mention about Omea Reader is that when I want to scroll up or down through the list of entries (the top right area) using the mouse scrolling wheel or the ThinkPad's middle button it sometimes works but more often it doesn't. That's annoying, I wish someone can fix that.

The other thing is that it requires the .NET framework and I don't like it at all. It means we, and the developers, are locked in. When everyone moves to Linux then Omea Reader, and Omea Pro, will go away. Well, I'm starting to see that the community is not happy waiting and waiting for the source code to be released as open source, so maybe the end will be sooner rather than later. We'll see.

Glad you liked it! I still have a few other articles and blog posts that I have to read that I'm sure are pretty interesting and good so, maybe I'll create a follow up post in the near future (hope so).
Thanks for commenting, very appreciated!

Hi César! Thanks a lot for the plug and for linking to that weblog post I shared not too long ago. Good stuff! I do hope that you find some time as well to share with us your own experience around the subject of social computing at IBM as you have been one of the guys who have worked really hard in our internal blogosphere and I am sure that folks over here would find your insights quite helpful. I know, I would :-) So keep those blog posts coming and thanks again for the love link!

Hey, César! Thanks a bunch for the feedback and for sharing your thoughts about Performancing for FireFox. Indeed, that was one of the reasons why I have tried it out in the first place. To see if I could make use of it for our internal Roller weblogs or not and if we can to see if we could transition into making using of just FireFox for posting content as opposed to have multiple weblogging platforms. We shall see how things will go but I am confident we may be able to get things to work ! Fingers crossed !

Thanks a lot, Cesar, for the pingback ! I must say that after having read your weblog post and, specially, Rocky's, I am not surprised about what happened. These days it is very difficult to find an IM client that may not have been hacked in the past and given the fact that ICQ has been in market for so long I am just not surprised at all. I, too, have got a very low number, I probably got it about 7 years ago, but it has probably been months since last time I tried to log in and it would not be too strange if I could no longer access it. Either way, and pretty much like Rocky I guess I have been looking for something else than just IM and the combination of VoIP and IM tools seem to be the good match now. At least, so far and since I got started using those VoIP / IM tools I have yet to encounter the first security exposure. I know they might come at some point but so far so good. Let's see for how long. Again, thanks for the pingback !

Hello César ! I know exactly what you mean. I had to go through some of that myself when I was using Blogsome. Regarding the different creation of posts checking out the links, dashes in URLs and so forth is going to be a cumbersome task since Blogsome has got some issues about using third party weblogging tools, like w.bloggar or Qumana as it will not include the correct links. This is an issue solved in the WordPress template which Blogsome hasn't upgraded yet. Hopefully, it will be soon enough.

And regarding the spamming your weblog item yes, this is something that happened to me every now and then and it has got to do with the plugin Spaminator. If you disable it for a minute or two while you are sending the comments and then enable it again, you should be all right. Hope that helps.

Hi Luis! Thanks for stopping by and share your welcome message, sorry if I just saw your comment until today, I didn't saw it the times I was logged on with my account in here.
And thanks for your help offering, I was able to modify the template the same day I created the first entry and for sure you saw how it'll remain for some time, so will not need to look into it for now.
What I need to discover is how can I post a comment without much checkings about links, dashes in URLs, etc., for my own weblog. When I click on the "Say It!" button I get a page that says that I have tried to spam my own weblog 6 times, that's funny. I'm sure there should be a better way.

Thanks again Luis!

Hello César and welcome to Blogsome ! I am really glad to see you have ventured into creating a weblog over here. I am sure you will enjoy it as much as the rest of us. Regarding the customisation of the templates this is something that you can do through the Admin panel, using the option under Files or under Themes, whatever you would prefer. Have a look and if you would still need some guidance let me know and we will hook up together. Welcome aboard and keep weblogging !
